The Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce has a long history of providing tourism information services in Revelstoke.

1949 - Claire Dickey, manager of the Tourist Information, as run by the Jr. Chamber of Commerce.

The Junior Chamber of Commerce opened a tourist information bureau in the office formerly occupied by P.C. Rankin and Son (Insurance Agencies), on the corner of First Street and Boyle Avenue.

1960s -Tourist Information Hut

The Information Hut could be found by the Frontier Hotel, on Highway 23.

1960s - Tourist Information Kiosk

In 1962 the CP Railway info kiosk that was originally found at the train station was relocated and repurposed as an information centre by the Chamber of Commerce. It was moved to the Co-Op Shopping Centre parking lot on the west side of Mackenzie Avenue.

1980s - The Enterprise Centre Building

Present Day - The Revelstoke Business and Visitor Information Centre

We moved into our new building in January of 2014. The 'BVIC' today is home to the Chamber of Commerce, Community Economic Development, Community Futures, The Idea Factory, and Tourism Revelstoke. The Visitor Centre acts as a front desk to our building partners.

Present Day - The Revelstoke Van

The Revelstoke Van allows us to provide Visitor Information Services remotely! During the summer, you can find us in Mt. Revelstoke National Park and at the Farmers Market.
Roaming in the National Park allows us to meet with and encourage visitors off the highway to explore more of Revelstoke.
