This free, online, program runs twice a year and is made up of two courses that will give you the knowledge and skills you need to share your love of Revelstoke with others. Upon completion of the courses and becoming a Revelstoke Ambassador, you gain access to multiple local business discounts through the “Ambassador Benefits Pass”.

As of Winter 2024, by meeting additional eligibility requirements, Ambassadors can also receive the RMR Ambassador Season Pass Discount.

The Ambassador Program is open to everyone that works for a Revelstoke-based business, or volunteers on the board of a Revelstoke-based Non-Profit Organization. Proof is required, and is to be sent to us upon completion of the online courses.

If you are not employed in Revelstoke or work remotely for a business based out of town, you are not eligible for the benefits. Even so, everyone is invited to take the free training as there is plenty of value in this program for anyone interested in all things Revelstoke, no matter where you work or how long you have been in town.

Summer season | May 14 - September 30
Winter season | October 15 - April 30

Both intakes of the Ambassador program feature 2 courses that take an hour each to complete. They are:

Revelstoke Knowledge | To Be Completed Every Intake (every season)
A seasonally changing Revelstoke Knowledge course that covers general topics that help you get to know Revelstoke, its neighbourhoods, history, how to get here, attractions, and then of course, specific info for the summer and winter months depending on when the course is taken.

Customer Service Excellence | To Be Completed Once
In this course you will learn from local ambassadors and service professionals how you can share you Revelstoke knowledge with others. And, if you’re in a customer-facing role, some further skills that can help you provide great customer service.
