grow with us

Discover the key reasons behind our 2024 growth and why now’s the time to join.

More and more businesses are joining the Revelstoke Chamber because they’re seeing the value - not just in the benefits and services we offer, but in how we help strengthen Revelstoke as a place to live, work & play.

Here’s what helped fuel our growth in 2024 - and what your business could be a part of in 2025.

Membership is more accessible, valuable, and visible

In 2024, we focused on making operational improvements to help streamline our processes, allowing us more time to focus on what matters: connection, providing support and opportunities, and representing our members’ interests.

A centerpiece of this work is the Member Portal - a member-exclusive interface that centralizes access to events, benefits, and resources. Its launch marked a significant step forward in making Chamber membership more functional, accessible, and valuable in day-to-day business life.

That same commitment to accessibility and connection extended beyond internal systems and our membership. Over the last year, we’ve made a stronger effort to raise awareness and connect with the wider community - becoming more active on social media, listening to what matters, and demonstrating that through our programs, events, and advocacy.

Connection & Collaboration

We remain committed to offering events that reflect the needs of Revelstoke’s business community, creating space to connect, learn, and celebrate together. In 2024;

  • We built on member favourites such as Coffee Connections and the Business Excellence Awards

  • We introduced more opportunities to engage, such as casual learning sessions and ‘business après’ networking

  • We reintroduced the Chamber Golf Tournament, a signature event opening more opportunities for collaboration

Our events are a key part of why businesses join the Chamber, with members receiving free or discounted event registrations. They are more than just gatherings - they offer connection, community, and valuable visibility through sponsorship opportunities.

Supporting the wider community

While our work is rooted in supporting our members, we recognize that their success is closely tied to the strength of the wider community. This understanding influenced how we shaped and delivered our programs in 2024.

  • We expanded eligibility for the Ambassador Program to include employees across all roles and sectors

  • We opened our buy-local campaign to non-member participation, at no cost to them

  • We created Opportunity Hubs that are free and accessible to all local businesses

  • We helped launch the Women’s Leadership Collective, a new initiative designed to support, elevate, and connect women in business and leadership roles across Revelstoke

  • We refocused on the "Business” aspect of the Business and Visitor Information Centre to better reflect its role as an inclusive business resource - not just a tourism touchpoint, but a space that supports all local business sectors

Supporting the wider community isn’t a departure from our role, it’s an essential part of it. A strong, connected Revelstoke lifts every business. Becoming a member is one of the most impactful ways to support these programs, and in doing so, you’re investing in a more connected, resilient business community that benefits everyone.

Exclusive Benefits, Resources and Opportunities

While many programs are open to the wider community, Chamber Members have access to a growing suite of exclusive perks, tools, and promotional opportunities, providing measurable value and support for their business.

Beyond event registrations, this is where the tangible, monetary value of Membership lies.

Advocacy: have your say

As the voice of business in Revelstoke, the Chamber works to ensure local business interests are heard at every level of government, from Revelstoke to Victoria to Ottawa. In 2024, we:

  • Continued work through our Waste Reduction and Business Tax Committees and shared helpful breakdowns on issues like the Zoning Bylaw Re-Write and local tax structures

  • Met regularly with our MLA, MP, and federal agencies to represent local business needs

  • Participated in provincial and national policy debates, advocating for better business policies on taxes, tourism, wellness, and more

  • Issued letters of support for aligned community initiatives that build a sustainable economy

Our advocacy starts by listening to our members, identifying shared challenges, and working through committees and conversations to turn those concerns into action, whether it's engaging with local government, influencing provincial or federal policy, or supporting community initiatives.

This work doesn’t always make headlines, but it’s the foundation of what we do. When you join the Chamber, you're adding your voice to a network that advocates for better business conditions, a stronger local economy, and long-term resilience for Revelstoke.
