Supporting your business

The Ambassador Program is one of the many ways the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce supports our local business community. The program is designed to help businesses attract and retain employees by providing exclusive benefits from other local businesses. These benefits are only available upon completion of free online courses that provides staff with a foundational knowledge of Revelstoke, and customer service training.

Can your Business benefit from the Ambassador Program?

The program was originally designed for those working in customer-facing tourism roles, but it is now available for anyone who wishes to access it. The same is true of businesses; you do not need to be a tourism business to make the most of this free training and staff retention tool. The only criteria required for employees to receive the benefits are:

  • work for a Revelstoke-based business OR volunteer on the board of a Revelstoke-based Non-Profit Organization;

  • complete both courses of the online training

How you can register your staff

Your staff may register and complete the training in their own time, but we would recommend integrating the 2 hour session into your orientation, or as a group training session for example, at the start of a season.

Group Sessions & mass registration

To provide Group Ambassador training, a manager will have to create an account for the Ambassador Program, and use that profile to ‘host’ the training. Then, to facilitate the onboarding of multiple staff, we have created a form that allows you to register multiple staff with us at once.

Please fill in the Ambassador Group Onboarding Form and send back to ambassador@revelstokechamber.com.

HOW Else CAN BUSINESSES GET INVOLVED?

The benefits that we provide are only possible thanks to contributions from local stakeholders. As well as incentivizing participation, these contributions provide great exposure of the businesses to new and existing residents alike. Take a look at our current benefits and their providers.
